Kristina Contes class! And exhaustion.
Gus is too freaking cute when he is tired. I love him.
This weekend was not as terrible as originally anticipated. Although I accomplished no school work, I did a lot of design stuff.
On Saturday I was fortunate enough to take a Kristina Contes class at work, from which I produced this lovely specimen:
And my Kathleen. Chilling in the grass.

You will quickly realize that I don't care if my posts are image heavy.
So I'm sitting here trying to open my mouth as wide as this clay mask will allow [isn't it fun?] and I'm saying, screw school. This is the most stressed I've been in my life, and I'm trying to stop caring so much.
Instead of working on my fruitless assignments, I've decided to make an updated portfolio to send along to Disney for my interview tomorrow. THAT is what will matter in my life. Not whether or not I understand imaginary numbers -- hey, did you know that we have IMAGINARY NUMBERS!? Apparently substituting LETTERS for numbers in variable form is not enough, oh no, we must have invisible things too. Oh my.
So instead of allowing my stomach to knot itself once again, how about I post on...
some of my favorite things.
Photographing Kathleen.
It always produces great results.
Tiaras & Crowns!
Not so much in the princess sense,
but queens and such...
I can't explain it any better than that!
It's just a current obsession.
Brilliant colors and fantastic packaging.
Pictured here is a box of candy we got at
this incredible little sweets shop called
Sugar^3 [as in, Sugar "Cubed"], in Disney
after dinner at Mulino II.
Speaking of... check out their logo!!
Cute, eh?
I'm over the retro fonts, but the name
just cracks me up.
Kurt Halsey.
I will always have a special place in
my heart [and walls!] for his work.
The crazy things Kat does.
I have nothing else to say on this one!!

New website!
Alright, I think it's up and running... Completely now!
I just have to add additional clients I've had, and include a photography and fine art section.

Doodles and Scraps
We might as well get this going, too!
I've actually been playing with the idea of scanning and posting my school notes, cause they contain fun doodling. But I think this will become an art journal more than anything... Sorry if you don't like that!
Oh, and scrapbooking... Of course. Lots and lots of scrapbooking! Here's a start...
