October So Far

It's been so very amazing. We're finding ways to make it feel like Fall in Florida.

Like Celebration pumpkin 'patches'

States may change, but these things remain
just as beautiful anywhere you go =)

We were hard at work carving...
Justin created extra work for himself.

Kat's creation!

Fall Leaves Falling in Celebration... There was hay!

September Catch-up

A lot of great stuff happened!

We started September off with a little Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party... So we've been celebrating Halloween since September 9th!

I still vote HalloWishes as the most spectacular firework production we offer, 100%.

Mansion lady was out -- we love her.

Gino donned his pirate garb.

Justin shook us up on the teacups.

aaa lloootttttt.

Grumpy.

It's amazing how a house can feel so overwhelmingly lonely, when you still have three big dogs to love.

sb supply lust

On the scrapbooking front,
I really need to hop to it.
I might do that this evening.
I would be more inclined to do this...
...if I had this fun grungebook by Tim Holtz.
Or at least I'd get around to it at SOME point.

I have a love/hate relationship with Hambly Screen Prints. I hate them because they make me love them soooo much.

I also want every chipboard book made by Maya Road:

Trick or Treat, CANDY...

Yeah, I know it's August.
But there are no fun holidays in August...
So I'm getting all kinds of excited about Halloween.
Especially the Magic Kingdom end, with Hallo-Wishes (my absolute favorite Fireworks display) and the Boo-to-You Parade... Which has the most amazing music of all time. All time.

Martha Stewarts gorgeous pumpkins get me pretty jazzed, too.

In other news: We are preparing for FAY (has anyone else had to suffer through once-a-day 'don't get blown away by fay!!' in the workplace???) and the Weather Channel is enough to scare the bejesus out of anyone...

Ciao for now and don't get blown away by Fay! (gag)

So I had a 'good outfit' day. Those days are my favorite of all.

Justin is killing me.

This is my boyfriend, and his friend the duck.
I love them both, and I haven't even met said duck.

He is maternal, and kind, and gentle, and amazing.
The boy, not the duck.

That's all.

Why does it always rain right before the 3:00 parade?

Stuff is good.

I can't believe they gave me access to ordering office supplies,
considering I have such a problem.

I can't help myself, though... I absolutely must know
what each and every porous point pen looks and feels like.

I also am in love with our chefs, who make amazing things for fancy meetings.

They, along with the neverending flow of free popcorn, will be the death of me.

((minnie, mickey and)) WALL-E

Who knows who I'm writing to when I blog these days.
But I'm just going to keep running with it.

So, new office decorating is coming along well... I've decided on cute vintage Mickey & Minnie statues that look just like this:

I love them.

IN OTHER NEWS:

I saw the midnight showing of Wall-E on Thursday... And really... I am just in love.
The more I think about it, the more I swoon.

As I'm sure you've read by now, the movie has some amazing messages.
...And amazing POSTERS.

I also saw The Strangers... Hmm. I hate stories with unanswered questions.

But it spooked me, enough that I feel like I've ran a marathon. You see, when scary movies do their job, my legs lock up throughout the film...

But I never notice until Day 2. And, ouch.

2008 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival: Peter Pan Garden

So, it's always beautiful, of course.
Mom and Kat took advantage of it to the fullest extent...
Really, I was beginning to think they had a problem, after
coming home daily with gardening goodies & DIY make-and-takes.
I did not visit as often, but when I did, it was lovely.

I was a particular fan of the Peter Pan Garden.

International Culture & Diversity

The company I work for is amazing, in letting us dedicate time to exploring the Culture and Diversity that surrounds us in our own back yard... And indulging in their yummy (...sometimes) culinary specialities. All of our hard work payed off -- the May event was excellent.
